Need more copies of the books. Some books are ridiculously expensive to buy for subjects, should have more than 7 copies for those subjects. Limited in resources outside the recommended books.

Got to be honest, it's not the nicest area to be in. Not very clean, usually very crowded down stairs and warnings about theft greet you at the door, but it does have the tech support and you can rent anything you need like calculators for exams or projectors and laptops. Printing is available 1st and 2nd floors and the basement level has study rooms for students to book and computers. Upper floors are mostly silent study and books as you'd expect.

Are you serious - 5 stars? The library staff - 95% are rude, 5% nice. The library is always dirty - please clean and wipe the tables and clear away the rubbish left by the Gen Y's who think they rule the place by talking on their mobile phones or chat with friends in the silent areas of level 4 and 5. I can't see why the library staff can't clean the tables down - they leave it for the cleaners, but there will be 8 staff on downstairs at front counter doing not much. You can view this for yourself. Also the library staff now wear headphones when they put away books so you can never ask them anything because they are listening to their ipod. Needs a revamp on customer service.

Computers use Internet Explorer as default browser, often slow and laggy. In comparison to other university libraries it is fairly lacking. Head upstairs if you want to at least TRY to have silent study, people downstairs usually talk on their phones and have ringtones on.

I'm sitting in the library right now. Temperature is good, which is important because it's the middle of Summer (45 degrees outside). It's really nice and quiet, but again that's a Summer thing - classes are off. A lot of the computers are dodgy and slow, but there are a bunch of iMacs on Level 1 which are pretty fast. There's printing here too, it's fairly expensive but hey. Right in front of me is a yellow wall with a nice framed painting on it, which is a nice attempt at classing up this place which is overall a bit bright and cold and artificial.
